BB003 - Escape From Glasgatraz b/w Madame Nicotine

Glasgatraz isn't a place. No, it's a feeling we all get when the rain just won't stop falling on our lives. Madame Nicotine - as the title might suggest - should carry a Goverment health warning as it is addictive.

Mastered at Abbey Road and pressed on blue vinyl, these fine examples of the art of writing catchy pop songs can now be ordered online for enjoyment on that special turntable in your life.

Distributed by Taur. Available from our online shop. All you need is money.

The Viragoes Bio

There’s this town called Clydebank. Way back in time, it was always associated with shipbuilding. Later, it was a test area for the kind of economic stupidity that only governments can practise leaving little more than the dark shadow of bleak despair. But all is not lost for Clydebank for this once great has now seen the bright light of hope brought to them by The Viragoes.

You can hear it in their songs. Burning with emotional intensity and seasoned with that bone dry humour that only seems to exist in the west of Scotland, their message comes across loud and clear. Sensitive ballads that touch your heart and mixed with anthems that make you want to sing your heart out. And this is a band that sings their heart out every time they play.

There are five of them – Louise, LeeAnn, Craig, Ally and Kevin – and they are going to make their mark.

The Viragoes were photographed by Conrad Gross assisted by Lorraine Barclay.
