BB004 - Easy Boys b/w We're All Cruel

Glasgow is a city filled with style. You find it in the strangest of places but nonetheless, there is nothing strange or styleless about a band called Sonny Marvello. This, their first vinyl release features two songs that will make you want to play with your waxed moustache and hanker after a smoking jacket.

Mastered at Abbey Road, pressed on heavyweight red vinyl and presented in a rather handsome gatefold sleeve, these two examples of the art of writing classy pop songs can now be ordered online for enjoyment on that special turntable in your life.

Sorry but this release is no longer available.

Sonny Marvello Bio

Sonny Marvello are a five-piece from Glasgow whose influences include The Band, The Beatles, Beach Boys, Bowie and Blur…and bands beginning with other letters as well.

The band gained a reputation by creating masked balls and secret gigs in their home city before pulling together all their resources to escape Glasgow to New York City; where they promptly won 'Best International Act' at the New York City Meany Festival.

In recent times the band played to loads of sexy girls and boys at a packed O2 Academy at Club Noir, before playing The Mill at Oran Mor. The summer saw the band sell-out Stereo in July and August, funding time in Cava Studios to record their debut single; a double a-side of "Easy Boys" and "We're All Cruel" to be released on Metropolicana Records.

Sonny Marvello are a fighting fit brigade, armed with theatrical yet heartfelt material and a mission statement to entertain the masses at all costs.
